OWEN Hargreaves is adamant United won't let their Stamford Bridge frustration wreck their double bid as the Reds face a five-day League and European crunch.
United were seething on Saturday as they left London blaming referee Alan Wiley and assistant Shaun Proctor-Green for the 2-1 defeat against Chelsea that takes the Premier League title race down to the last two matches.
But Hargreaves insists the torment is now out of United's system and the Reds are ready to hit back against Barcelona and West Ham.
"We have a big game against Barcelona and we can't let the Chelsea match affect us," the 26-year-old England player told M.E.N. Sport.
"We are still in control of our destiny. That is the best position to be in.
"The frustration was massive after the game but on Saturday night, we had to draw a line under it. It has gone now. No matter how big the frustration was at the end of the game it is over and we had to let it go.
"We still go into the Barca game confident."
Hargreaves, though, still believes the pivotal moment in the Reds defeat was when Chelsea were awarded an 86th-minute penalty for handball against Michael Carrick.
"You do have to say that Chelsea played well. In the first half they played well and we struggled to deal with Drogba throughout the game," Owen admitted.
"We tried to make adjustments and we were fortunate that Carvalho gifted us a goal.
"You have 22 players on the pitch but they did not decide the game.
Unacceptable
"Some of the best in the country but not one of them decided it! It was decided by a linesman and I find it unacceptable.
"We had two clear penalties turned down - one where Ballack bear- hugged Ronaldo and one where Michael Carrick was fouled.
"Yet they get a penalty for handball and how anybody could see that I don't know. I was on the pitch and closer than the linesman and I can't see it.
"I don't understand it to be honest and I am not sure it is fair.
"It only takes one moment like that and a season can be ruined. But it won't ruin ours."
Now United's focus is trained on the 90-minute semi-final shoot-out with Barcelona.
"The Old Trafford game against Barcelona will be different to the Nou Camp. We went over there with a game plan that we executed pretty well," said Hargreaves.
"We didn't keep the ball and we didn't create many chances. But in front of our own fans I fancy us to go through."
The title race will now go to the final day on May 11. United play West Ham this Saturday at Old Trafford while Chelsea travel to Newcastle.
If Avram Grant's side lose at St James' Park and the Reds beat the Hammers it won't officially be won even though United's vastly superior goal difference would effectively be the clincher no matter what happened on the last day.
Despite the Reds shipping seven title points in recent weeks, Hargreaves believes United's final two games should see them retain the Premier League trophy.
"We have two games in the Premiership to win the championship and you couldn't ask for more than that," he added. "If you'd said you can have two games at the end of the season to win the league we would have taken that."
What do you think? Have your say.

one player who talked the talk pre match actually waked the walk on saturday mr fletch. bet you thought you would never hear me saying that.
this last 2 seasons we have spent nigh on 70m and still have only an ok midfield.
they cant control games even against some of the lesser teams. citytwice, pompey twice, reading, boltonboro, blackburn.
they contribute very little in goalscoring.
I hope we win the double i really do and if we do its down to
the freakish season from our porugeezer and our fantastic defence.

I agree though that his energy would be very welcome in midfield. I expect Scholes and Carrick will play so Hargreaves will be fighting Fletcher for the third midfield berth.
Fletcher is just back and may not be up to two big matches so close together but it all depends on Vidic. If he isn't fit then OH will be at right back and Fletch will play. If he is fit then he may just get a game in the middle for a change.

What does worry me is why SAF continues tinkering with the side especially when we're in such an important time.....and why did he bring Fletcher straight in for the Chelsea game...I'm sure we'll get through on Tuesday and I think Chelsea will drop points at Newcastle so the double is definitely still on....come on you reds!!

And to think we are top despite this.
This is a strange season indeed.

We need to get him in the middle though but unfortunately at the moment are reluctance to strengthen up front and at right back means that Hargreaves and Ronaldo are both playing out of position. I expect to see these positions addressed in the summer with possibly Lahm and a surprise striker Fergie has up his sleeve.

I would retain the following players...
VDS (for a final year)
Foster
Brown
Vidic
Ferdinand
Evra
Pique
Hargreaves
Anderson
Nani
Ronaldo
Carrick
Fletcher
Teve
Rooney
I would get rid of the following...
Gary Neville (Too old)
Saha (Too fragile)
Giggs (Too old and frankly useless now)
Park (Never United quality)
Scholes (Too old)
Dong (Who is he again - pathetic)
O'Shea (Great heart - insufficient quality)
Kuszszak (Never good enough)
Eagles (Not good enough)
Silvestre ( past it)
Still to be truly given an opportunity..
Heaton
Wellbeck
Simpson
Evans
To buy...
1: Solid right back
2: Dominating central midfielder to give Carrick time to play his brilliant passing skills. Oh for another Keano.
3: World class forward for Tevez and Rooney to play off.
