The Portugal international is in top form, scoring 37 goals this season, and links with the continent's leading clubs are never far away.
But the 23-year-old has stressed once again he is happy at Old Trafford.
"I just don't care what the whole world seems to want to say about me or speculate about my future," he told The Sun.
"I've said it a thousand times and, by now, people should realise...I'm totally happy at United.
"I'm in the form of my life and I'm having the season of my career so far so it makes me mad sometimes to read some of the things which are supposed to be related to my future.
"I get angry but I'm trying to accept it's a waste of energy to be furious because it is not worth it."
And meanwhile, Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has conceded it would be "impossible" to sign Ronaldo this summer.
Mijatovic was quoted as saying on Tuesday that the Spanish giants were looking at Ronaldo to become the new 'face' of the club, in a similar way to former France playmaker Zinedine Zidane during his time at Madrid.
Mijatovic has made no secret of his admiration for the 23-year-old Portugal international, but admits there is no chance of taking him to the Bernabeu any time soon.
"Right now it is impossible to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Who would not like to have him in their team? But we need to be realistic because his would be a very difficult signing," said Mijatovic, who also denied he had met with United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz.
"There has been talk about lots of things that have nothing to do with reality. They have also said I have been seen with Carlos Queiroz and it is not true," the former Madrid striker added in Marca.
How long will Ronaldo stay at United? Have your say.

Anyway who'd want to go and play with a bunch of has-beens like Robben, RVN, Raul and Heinze?

Henry was a class player for a long time and helped Arsenal be the club they are today, Ronaldo could go on to be the best player ever. He will one day leave the club I’ve no doubts about that but hopefully when he has given us the best football of his life, just like Henry at Arsenal!

Ronaldo is 23. That means he has 10 years of greatness left. £ 50 m isn't much when you think what difference he makes in a season. Look at what Sunderland spends to stay up, what West Ham and Shitty spend to end in the top half of the PL. Liverpool spends hundreds of millions to win the league, €he£$ki twice that amount to win the CL and you want to sell of our main asset?
And what about merchandising? Look at the drop in revenue for Real after Beckham defected for the US! Ronny is, due to Ronaldinho's decline, the most marketable footballer in the world. £ 50 m is not his value to a club like United or Real, that's the lesson learned from the Beckham saga.
And what about the age? Real paid £ 46 m for a 29-year old Zidane. That would suggest his value will not dip to £ 50 m for a long time yet.
So what would it take so sell him? Well, if someone buys 51% of the club, I'll guess they can buy him if he wants to go. If not, we're better off keeping him as long as he wants to stay.

The other thing is players only dream of playing for manchester united, they usually leave later on in their careers but remember the time they played in that mighty red shirt the most famous football shirt in the world, and the ex players only go to other clubs for a little taste of what its like to play abroad, then retire wealthy.
But am i will say this and im sure youll agree when you have played at manchester united the best team in the world the only way is downward, youve worn the shirt (so there proud)but the only way is down.
Loads of ex players say well i can remember my days as a utd player and they all have fond memories that they will take to the grave.
Any way greasy spicks ronnies not for sale at any price so dream on and on and on.

Robbo....Although your comment may have been tongue in cheek [ like Ronaldo with his girlfriend no doubt ] I fear also that there is a grain of truth in what you say.
We have the worlds best player. However he is not a native talent, let alone a local lad, and IMO it's nailed on that he goes abroard sooner rather than later.
If they get him to sign an extension then at least that puts us in the driving seat for the fee received, which should at this moment given his age, ability and stats be a record fee.
He will get "unhappy" at some point....and regardless of that unhappiness being manufactured simply to facilitate a move or genuine through a loss of form or something else I can still see it happening.
For those of you about to shout "But why would he want to leave, Utd are the greatest club in the world. " Well I know that, United are in my DNA......you know that......but for some the lure of Madrid or Barca is just to much.
Some players have a golden season, this is undoubtedly his......I think it will propel us to victory the Premiership and Champions League. Lets enjoy this while we can.
Question is....who do we buy with the money when that day comes?

As for Mad Pierre's 75m: United is a football club. On-field success breeds income through prize and tv money as well as merchandising. OT will be packed without CR, but the other sources of income will suffer. And what about the CL? If Platini's suggestion of max three clubs per country eventually goes through, it will be extremely costly to have a bad season where we end in fourth.
Face it: £ 75m is an obscene amount of money, but as long as there's no chance of him buying out of his contract, it's not more than Ronaldo's net value to United. And remember: It still says MUFC. Football Clubs prime concern is winning titles, not making money. And it will stay that way as long as SAF is manager.
BTW: David Beckham's contract with LA Galaxy gives him about $ 10m a year, with the rest of the reported 50m coming from commercial activities. And though he lacks the Spice Girl wife, Ronaldo's better than Beckham ever was........

What value Keano as the heartbeat? What was the same side other than nearly men until Cantona completed the jigsaw? 30m for winning the CH league so why would selling for 75m make sense? It wouldn't.
Without Ronaldo we would not have won the league and would be out of the CH League. So what COST of losing Ronaldo over the years in title prize money? In lost sales of shirts to lovestruck Chinese teenage girls? In extra gate receipts? In TV comapanies fighting each other to get the rights as they want their cameras to see Ronaldo's tricks in a winning team to sell their product rather than seeing route 1 Bolton. Add on the fact it would cost silly money to replace him (because we just got silly money for selling Ronie and the selling club would know that and demand too much).
So money in 75m - 30m (adequate replacement) - 12m (purchase cost) = 33m. Add on 5 years salary paid as about 12-13m we are down to a "profit" of 20m .... and probably a fair chunk of the 75 will go to Sporting as a sell on fee.
Where is the gain there exactly versus the riches and fond memories he will bring to United over the next 4 or 5 years???
Any financier would do a simple "net present value" calculation and quickly discard a sale unless it was really silly money.
