Good place for Danny to go, provided he gets games is at a club who play decent quick passing football with a manager who was a stylish player. Probably lack of pace stopped him from being a real top player. Also the pressure of fighting for promotion where every game counts will do him well.

Probably would have been better to send him there sooner than to keep him in the Reserves. But I suppose he was our insurance policy in case we got hit by several injuries at once across the back - with Gary nearing fitness that's no longer needed, I'm guessing.

Hope he does well for himself there. I don't think he'll ever take over from Gary, but certainly he can do better than playing in the Reserves. Difficult season for the lad, best of luck and maybe Ipswitch can move up and into the playoffs, that would be great experience.

I can't understand why he isn't already in the team. Talking about promising young players - why sell Frazier Campbell when we obviously need exactly that kind of player up front? United seem to have abandoned their old policy of playing home-grown youngsters.

Red-Brit-In-It, he's not in the team because he's not very good. He's been pants in the last few reserve games and he's gone backwards all year. He needs competitive games but we can't afford that to be with us. If you consider how far he's fallen, he's now behind Hargreaves as stand-in right back! Yes, Hargreaves of the 20-yard trap! It shows how far Hargreaves has fallen that it was him and not Fletcher who got the shift at right back. Fletcher has played there a couple of times and acquitted himself quite well but, given the choice, SAF chose Fletcher ahead of Hargreaves in midfield. He's a wise man.
