Give me either one of Lahm, Alves or Bosingwa, or maybe even Sagnol and I'll be happy. Ideally we want a player that can play on the left or right fullback position.

I think we should be looking more at another striker as rooney and teves look like there going to tire out you cant win trebles with 2 strikers remember the fa cup final last year they looked shatterd .

We only need two players bringing in for next season. I good right back, so Bosingwa or Lahm and a forward like Benzema. I think Silvestre,Saha and Fletcher will all be moved on. I think if we could rotate Rooney and Tevez a bit more to keep them fresh in April and May, we will be in for so very special times in the next few seasons.

We do need a rightback, at least as a cover if Neville still is up for it. But, for next season Giggs must also be considered backup. Anderson and Nani is already better than Giggs current form. He won`t be dropped by SAF this season.

Could we not have made a move in January instead of a frustrating article first week in February discussing a summer buy. I think Nev is really crocked or Fergie is saving him for the run in. Brown's passing is so bad his team mates are passing the ball anywhere but his direction unless there is no other option.

I think its time SAF has the guts to let some youngsers into the team again. You have to give the young players more than just one chanse if they are to become regulars. As for a striker I hope Manucho can become an important player for the next season. I've seen him in the African cup, and he looks good.

Bosingwa is one of the best RBs in the world no doubt. Co Adriaanse( Deutsch coach) did a couple of good things apart of winning the portuguese league and being clubs world champion with Porto. Anyway that was leftovers from Mourinho. What he achieved was to create two really top players. NR.1 Quaresma: Co Adriaanse was hard on him but created a player with a totally different approach to the game, with a more direct way to play and still was allowed to use his skills. NR.2 Bosingwa: 24 years old and today has taken Miguel's place at the national team( Miguel was injured), he has Huge lungs, up and down his corridor, very fast and crosses the ball like few RBs do. Well build and can also take the CB position. Quite skilfull as his first position was more of a LM. For the price a much better buy than P.Lahm and a easier player o adapt in Brittish football, specially at ManU with the company of the other portuguese players. I've been asking time after time for this transfer. Brown is not a solution and GN is a bit to often injured plus I wonder if he will be back a the right level.

United's answer to a new right back was staring them in the face at WHL. SAF should have moved for Hutton. Gary Nev still struggling to get fit and Wes Brown at times looks like the weakest link in our back 4.Hutton has been brilliant for Rangers both at home and in Europe plus superb Scotland performances.At 9m he would have been a bargain.

Have to admit that i know precious little about this guy.What i am certain of is that rt back is our priority for next season.Gary won't achieve his previous standards and Wes is out of his depth against decent opponents; his distribution is poor and he offers Ronaldo no support or options.If Valtinho's description of Boswinga is accurate then he seems ideal; basically another Evra but taller and stronger;perfect.

Play the two Brazilian kids. We could play them both at the same time and no one would notice!

I don't watch much domestic European football, to be honest, but Valtinho knows his stuff so this news seems positive. I think that we’re three positions away from being an excellent side – RB (Wes is a strong defender, but I think we need more adventure tounlock the teams that insist on sitting back), LM (I’ve been impressed with Nani – good vision, distribution, set piece delivery, shot and pace when he decides to go past his man – but he seems to use his right foot rather than his left) and a striker. Having watched Barca last night, Geovanni Dos Santos looked excellent on the left. He’s been linked to English clubs (not sure why Barca would let him go), so if he’s available I’d break the bank. Him or Ronaldinho (who was sub, but has played on the left, I’m sure) would probably solve both the striker and the left wing problem. And how’s Robben doing at Real? Thoughts????

Colin, this isn't a REAL story you understand. United aren't talking to Porto about Bosingwa. What United are doing is giving Wes Brown a warning that he is replaceable and should sign his contract. United never announce their transfer targets like that and, as I understand it, Bosingwa isn't after a new contract, so the timimg suggests a shot across Wes' bows.

Macbrian, I've seen Hutton several times and rate him at about £2m at this time. The Rangers marketing machine did a great job boosting his price on the back of our supposed interest. He'll probably do well at Spurs but he's not a £9m player or anything like it at this moment. He's built his slender reputation on a couple of Scotland games and two European ties for Rangers.
