CARLOS Queiroz insists Cristiano Ronaldo is a better player than World Footballer of the Year Kaka.
The Manchester United assistant manager is convinced Ronaldo will soon become the world's greatest sportsman after Kaka beat him to both the European Player of the Year and FIFA's World Player of Year awards.
The Portugal winger, 22, finished runner up and third in the respective competitions - but Queiroz admitted he was bemused by the results.
He said: "During my career, I have worked with some of the world's finest players like (Zinedine) Zidane, Ronaldo of Brazil, Raul, Luis Figo and Roberto Carlos.
"Yet, I can honestly say, I have never seen such a football creation like Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Kaka has been named European Footballer of the Year and World Player of the Year, but in my opinion Ronaldo is better.
"The only thing that Kaka has that Cristiano doesn't is a Champions League title."
Queiroz believes Ronaldo, last season's Footballer of the Year in England, will soon bear comparison the all-time sporting greats.
He said: "Cristiano will not only become the biggest sporting attraction in England, but also in Europe and the rest of the world.
"He will be a world star in football like Michael Jordan was in basketball.
"That is because both of these sporting greats share the same skill level in their different fields.
"They have both been blessed with a genius that has never been seen before."

christiano ronaldo is better than kaka but kaka seems more humble.we have to admit last season kaka and milan ac only fought for the champions league whereas ronaldo and manutd were involved in every fronts.and its a pity kaka won all the awards coz its really unfair.the season ronaldo achieved was far brighter than kaka's.but this year,its time for revenge:red devils forever,god bless united

There is no question about Ronaldo's greatness but until he uses his ability on the European stage to deliver the European Cup he cannot be rated better than Kaka. Remember what Kaka did to United over the 2 legs last season....He's the best.
For me ronaldo is a far more better player than Kaka. It`s true Kaka won the CL, but he did`nt make any mark on the Final of the CL. When they play for their country Ronaldo wins hands down, because he always impress for his country and is always involved in the goals.
In my opinion Kaka still has to make the mark in the brasilian side.
i totally agree with CQ on this one. Ron has everything that Kaka doesn't. Skill wise, it's vivid that he dribles 'ten times' better and faster than Kaka, also, his step-over dribling talent is more entertaining than Kaka's orthodox style dribbling. Ronaldo's only drawback is his lack of composure in front of goal. Stats wise, .... Kaka's stats look so pathetic...

Very difficult to compare these two players and we're forgetting about Rooney, who makes United tick.
