Clive's Reds commentary

FOOTBALL commentator Clive Tyldesley reckons his finest professional moment came when he kept his mouth shut.

That was during the few seconds after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored United's winner against Bayern Munich to secure the 1999 Champions League trophy.

Lancashire-born Tyldesley said: "Your job as a commentator is to try and bring the audience in to the atmosphere of the stadium, and I think at that moment, keeping quiet for a few seconds was the right thing to do."

Tyldesley does have words to say on the Reds on the Manchester United, The Big Game interactive quiz DVD, where he provides the commentary.

Tyldesley added: "It's a game for all the family, it's not intimidating or too complicated, even grandparentsmar can get involved."

Strange article. I seem to recall him screaming "AND SOLKSJAER HAS WON IT!", the second the ball crossed the line.
