Ronaldo grateful for Jose apology

UNITED winger Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has personally apologised for reportedly criticising his upbringing.

Mourinho was quoted as describing the 22-year-old as "ill-educated, disrespectful and immature" after the Portugal international claimed the Stamford Bridge boss could never admit he made a mistake.

However, the pair appear to have patched up their differences.

"Mourinho has apologised to me and now I have no problem with him," Ronaldo told the Daily Mirror.

"I am pleased that this has happened. As far as I am concerned, the whole thing is now in the past."

Meanwhile, Sir Alex Ferguson has thrown his weight behind AC Milan ahead of the Rossoneri's Champions League final against Liverpool.

He told The Sun: "I told their manager Carlo Ancelotti at the end of our semi-final that there is no way he cannot win it now.

"Carlo gave me a magnificent bottle of wine," Ferguson added. "But I immediately told him I would only drink his wine once I see him lifting the Champions Cup."

Mourinho knows he didn't act with dignity. Ronnie did. Ronaldo is showing an amazing maturity ever since he stepped onto Old Trafford pitch for his first game against Bolton back in 2003. While the boy is growing up, Mourinho is simply not at his education and temper level.Time to concentrate on the FA Cup now.

Why is Fergie and co praising Jose in the papers/press today for being a good loser and person, he wasn't exactly praising utd when we won the league on sunday, I dont get where Fergie said he has been humble since they lost.

Completely agree E R I watched the interview with Jose and he gave us as little credit as it is possible to give so unless he has spoken to SAF personally (which he probably has) I dont understand.

You have to accept a lot of words are spoken under pressure.The EPL is better off for Jose's personality.We had Cantona's poetry.It's good to have eccentrics!
As for the question about Liverpool.What has that got to do with the MANCHESTER UNITED site?

Lads i read what Jose said too and your right, he was less than gushing in his praise or congratulations, but i suppose by his standards it was a ringing endorsement! The Chelsea players have been the same. Lampard and Carvalho are still saying that they think theyre the best team in the league. Horrors all

Compared to Wenger's the best team did not win the title when we hauled them back, then these comments were OK, mind you I bet they must have choked the 'Specail One' to say.

glad to hear jose has apologised to ronnie as he was out of order. and ronnie has shown maturity in the matter.

yeah i saw his interview after we won and he couldnt admit we were better and instead said he was proud of his team as they have had to face everything! poor loser simple as

It!s good to hear Jos apologised to Ronnie and hope things will work out nicely,if Ronnie is good why complain,say so.
