PAUL Scholes is hanging fire on the title celebrations but he says United's amazing Goodison comeback has put the Champions-elect in upbeat mood for Milan and the derby.
The Reds fly to Italy tomorrow looking to keep their Treble dreams intact in the San Siro against AC Milan and then return to put the finishing touches on the Premiership leg of the clean sweep bid at Eastlands.
It's a four-day League and European double date with destiny.
Mancunian midfielder Scholes says the Reds' sensational 4-2 win at Everton is the adrenalin shot United needed to pack in their baggage for Milan.
"We needed a big win to take with us to Italy," said the 32-year-old.
"Wednesday is another massive game for us but at this stage of the season, when you are going for the trophies we are going for - every game is a massive one anyway.
"There is a little bit of a similar feeling to 1999. We are in the hat for everything and we will give it our best shot. We are capable of winning every game, we know that and let's just see if we can do it.
"It was a great weekend. It would have been better if Chelsea had lost but we will take the draw. We will go to City next weekend and do our job there as well."
Beating the Blues would mean Chelsea have to get a point at least at the Emirates on Sunday against Arsenal to keep the title race alive.
Pole position
If City take one point at least from the derby and Chelsea beat Arsenal then the May 9 championship showdown with Chelsea at the Bridge is back on.
But the Reds are certainly in pole position.
"You would like to think the momentum is with us now," added Scholes.
"Five points is a great lead for us with only three games left. But there are still nine points and we have two tough away games at City and Chelsea.
"We know Chelsea won't be giving up. We have just got to look after ourselves.
"We will be looking to get something at City and hopefully that will see us through.
"Without a doubt we haven't got one hand on the trophy yet. I know we are in a fantastic position but it is still not won. We will go to City and try to do the business."
Once again United put their fans and Sir Alex Ferguson through the mill as they went 2-0 down at Everton with just half an hour to play.
At 2pm on Saturday the title was all level before the Reds stormed back while Bolton caught Chelsea in London.
"We never seem to make it easy for ourselves but we would have taken any kind of win before the game," said Scholes.
"I still thought we had a chance, even when we went 2-0 down. Last week at Middlesbrough we lost our patience a little bit. But I felt as long as we played at Everton, we would get chances and score goals and that is what we managed to do.
"We always know we are capable of creating chances providing we keep patient, keep passing the ball and not get in too much of a panic. Last week against Boro we probably panicked a bit too early. This week we have been patient and it has paid off again."
Can United cope with the demands of the treble chase? Have your say.

On another note, Mourinho is up with some rubbish about Ronaldo's upbringing and him being uneducated. The man has no brain or class whatsoever.

Incorrect. If we beat the blues, and Chavski can only draw, then we're 7 points clear with two games to play and Jose's title aspirations are dead in the water.

What would you have said at the start of the season ?
We are coming into the 'final furlong' in the lead, we just have to keep on going and hopefully no suspensions or new injuries.
If we get to the Champions League final, please let it be without Scholes being booked.

City tho it surprises me also have supporters from everywhere.
Do you have to separate the supporters at Eastlands? Stand 1.Home supporters from Manchester.Stand 2.Home supporters from outside Manchester.Stand 3 Away supporters, and Stand 4.EMPTY.

Man Utd is capable of making it to Athens with the strong man (Vidic) and possibly Rio expected to make it to the second leg in Milan next week. At least the defence will be fortified .There is not need to comment on the Attacking options of my team which I know can score away goals, at least the Goodison Park comeback will tell the story.
Sir Alex on his own part is a world class coach who has gotten the experience and everything we need to win the tie.
Bravo! United .Victory is assured in JESUS name .Amen!

Your team, fans and whole club is an embarrasment to the great City of Manchester.

Get a grip you laughing stock.

We have literally 'passed' our way to the title which is so pleasing.
Carrick & Scholes have been awesome recently and our wingers are the envy of the whole of Europe.
I really would settle for the Premiership, but as we're involved in other silverware, let's see where our talent takes us.
Whatever happens it's been a blinding season and to take the title off of the might of Chelsea has been unbelievable.

I know what you're saying 'The Dazzler.' Giggs tends to roam these days as do most of the United front line. However, he still turns up on the left flank fairly frequently to put in those crosses and tease the full back - old habits are bound to die hard!
Classic on Saturday. Scholes 40yd midfield pass out to Giggs on the left hand side of the box. Giggs vollyed it first time across the 6 yd box where Rooney running in missed it by a fag paper. What a goal that would have been. Yes, I know the offside flag was up against The Roon but what skill from the old masters? You don't see that at the Bridge!
