The Italian club were fined £31,000 at the same disciplinary hearing.
Fans of both clubs threw missiles at each other and also clashed with Italian police, who were heavily criticised for their behaviour by United supporters following the incident at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Both clubs have three days in which to appeal after receipt of the written grounds for the decision.

This is like a drop in the ocean. What planet are they on? Uefa are utterly gutless and clearly do not want to rock the boat with anyone.
With the type of over reaction and violence shown by the police and lack of proper stewarding afforded by Roma to the United fans I would have thought fines in the region of half a million to a million would make them think again. How much did Roma earn from reaching that stage of the competition?
