The Portuguese winger, who is in negotiations over a new contract with the Reds, has been the subject of constant speculation since last year's World Cup.
And news that the 22-year-old is talking to United about extending his deal has done little to dampen expectations in Spain.
"Cristiano Ronaldo will sign for Real Madrid once the season is over," claimed Marca.
"That's the bombshell that the president (of Real Madrid, Ramon Calderon) is going to announce this summer. A galactic transfer, if he's one."
How long do you think United can hold onto Ronaldo? Have your say.

If we show our intentions in the transfer market this summer and bring in a few decent signings then ronnie will definately be staying. I believe his own words rather than some madrid muppet! Madrid need to bring in several new players so they cant afford to splash so much on him anyway!

Real Madrid are now becoming a desprete club, i don't see what the attraction with them is for players still.. they have history but they havn't won a thing for years, they have become a bunch of losers, they change manages every month and are not a staple.. add that to the fact that the attraction of playing with "Galacticos" like Zidane ect has gone and players would be just going there to play with a bunch of young players in a unstaple club.. Ronaldo going there would hardly be "bettering himself"
Ronaldo is playing under the best manager in the world, infront of 70 odd thousand a week, aswell as playing with young players, he plays with experiance players who can help him.
if Ronaldo and/or his agent was smart which they are obviously not, they would sign the new 5-year contract and let what happend will happen, he has 3 years left on his current contract so a extra 2 years won't change much, he is just making it harder for himself really.

It is upto the manager and board to prove that he is at the right club already by winning the Premiership, investing in new young talent in the summer and not dragging out his new contract like Rio's.
United should come out and contact Madrid and tell them to put up or shut up. As we all know this is Madrid's usual transfer policy via rumour and the press to unsettle the player. If Ronaldo does want to leave then that is his right, but any transfer fee should be cash up front only, (60 million), nothing on the tick, no performance related, or Madrid cast offs in any deal.
If you want something so badly you have to pay the premium for it !
