Shakers eye Schmeichel return

BURY boss Chris Casper hasn't ruled out the possibility of bringing City keeper Kasper Schmeichel back to Gigg Lane.

Schmeichel spent a successful loan spell with the Shakers at the end of last season, playing a vital part in the club's successful battle against relegation.

But Casper might have to act fast after releasing both Neil Edwards and Craig Dootson on Monday.

"I wouldn't say no completely to Kasper coming back," said Casper. He did a great job for us, but I know City want to see what their situation is in pre-season and we really need to act before then."

Do you think Schmeichel would benefit from another loan? Have your say.

We should only allow him out on loan if he is playing first team football every week.

I'd rather see Kasper get his gloves through the door of the first team. Still, if being loaned out means he gets more first team experience and is a better player for City in the future then so be it.

Keep him out on loan and then bang into our first team, the guy is good, young but good, we are blessed down the years with good keepers,Bury fans love him we will too.
He will fit into Pearceys young profile team.

So long as Kasper is playing first team football i think it is GREAT for him and GOOD for CITY - SWP comes to mind - You have to learn your trade.
