CITY'S new away kit for the 2005/06 season - already given an airing in the recent home game against Middlesbrough - arrives in store tomorrow.
And to mark the occasion, manager Stuart Pearce will be on hand to hold a signing session for fans at ReebokCity at noon.
The new navy blue shirt will be available from 9am and will cost '34.99, which is the cheapest price for a shirt for 10 years.
Fans who buy their new shirt at the City Store tomorrow will also benefit from half-price shirt printing, and they will receive a '10 voucher to spend in the store during June and July.
Are you warming to the new strip? Have your say.

No. It looks good but I believe there is a real risk of players passing the ball to the ref instead of our own players. I think I saw this happen in the Boro game (could have just been a bum pass).
the best away kit in a long time remember the one from a few two years ago white with a balck and white strip in the middle(mingin)
Nothing can touch the home Kappa shirt in recent times...
Your right Dom there were several instances of us mistaking the Ref for a team mate against Boro. We were all expecting him to change at half-time. It needs watching next season.
It will look good with jeans though.
Don't like the new kit at all and what a disgrace the team wearing it for the last home game of the season. The home kit should always be worn at home, not impressed with the marketing gimmick.
The new away kit is rank, they should have had it just all navy, without the white bit on the sleeve, and withour the slashes and the one blue line in it...ill still be buying it tho....
Cheapest kit for 10 years? The primary school children employed by Reebok to design these atrocities should be punished with detention, lines & thrashings. You can buy a proper cotton shirt in the souveneer shop minus the vulgar sponsors name, silly patterns & so on and still have a few quid change. I say down with the tatty ugliness of modernity and up with traditional values!
No its rotten and we should all go and 'talk' to the designer! ha, ha. I know where he lives!
About time we had all maroon- proper traditional City colours And no stupid 'design flourishes' please!
if the only thing worth complaining about is yet another poor quality kit - then that's a good thing i say.
New Kit? Really like it. However I was disappointed to see them wearing it for the last home game. This is a trend that has been coming for a few years now at many clubs, and is I believe driven by the manufacturers. I'd have been happy for them to take the lap of honour in it post match though...
HORRIBLE!!!
Still they should of played the last game in the home kit...
Manchester City play in red and black stripes away from home, eveyone knows that...
As long as its got that badge on its good enough for me!!!! I think it looks quite smart actually!! None are as good as the yellow and black Wembley shirt of 99. or the white one that David White scored 4 against villa in.
Have to say i have been really disappointed with the kits Reebok have been supplying for us. It seems they only have a few designs to choose from, this kit is exactly the same as west hams (different colurs obviously), our home kit is the same as Boltons and Liverpools, again different colours. Bring back Kappa!! I've still got all the kits they did for us and they look quality still, especially the home one and the yellow and black away one. However, you can't beat the last Umbro home kit, sheer class.
When will it on sale in Hong Kong ?
I'm for the Wembly 99 kit. Also got to agree with the down with polyester up with cotton comment.
Don't like it and was disgusted when they not only wore it for the last home game but when they paraded around in it after the match with the launch date on the back (something I thought only United would do) in a complete own goal for the club. Did nobody stop to think that this (26th May) was actually the anniversary of United winning the European cup in 99!? Whatever happened to red and black stripes anyway?
Somebody recently said it looked as if it was made up from the bit's left on the factoy floor, I totally agree. IMO the away kit should always , ALWAYS, be some form of red and black stripes, with the Mcr. crest (69 final) as we are THE Manchester team.
It is almost as ugly as the silver and yellow one we used briefly in our premiership campaign under JR. Our away strip is red and black striped!
The away kit should be red and black stripes. I don't like the new kit and I don't like the way it was marketed by playing in it for the last game of the season! And we've only had the other dire away kit for what seems like just a season!
It's horrible and looks far too similar to the colour of the ref's shirt. I'm surprised they got away with it the other week - I'm sure one of our players passed to the ref v Boro. Another own-goal from the club's Marketing Dept, methinks...
Not being too fashion concious I prefer the classic 1970 (a la Colin Bell). It has the benefit you don't have to change it every year, the only drawback being it seems to get tighter every year!

I think it was wreckless to introduce the new AWAY shirt (for commercial reasons) in such an important game, as that against Boro (we'll never know the true impact it had).

Just a note to SP. Don't take a blue biro for the shirt signing!
Absolute garbage. It looks like something made for Frankenstein! I'm not buying it. Absolute disgrace wearing it for the last game. Thought it brought nothing but confusion. It was obvious the ref was passed to on more than one occasion. Black /Red stripes for me in two years.... if it lasts that long.
Agree, it was a disgrace to see us at home, last match of the season, such a crucial game, wearing the new away shirt. However as to the shirt itself I think it looks good and it was not our fault the ref and co did not wear or have avaliable to them an alternative colour shirt that did not clash with ours.
