Carlos Tevez has arrived back at Manchester City's training ground for an appointment with a club doctor.
The City striker flew back into the north west on Tuesday afternoon after more than three months' unauthorised leave in his native Argentina.
The 28-year-old was met by a large gathering of photographers and TV cameramen as he and his family walked through Manchester Airport after travelling overnight from Buenos Aires.
The video below shows Tevez's arrival at City's Carrington training ground ...
The 28-year-old has said he wants to resume his City career.
Tevez, who was frustrated in his bid to secure a transfer last month, said in a TV interview on Monday that "the most important thing for me is to return to get fit".
Tevez has not played for City since the infamous Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich in September, when he was accused of refusing to warm up.
Manager Roberto Mancini initially said Tevez was "finished" at City as a result, but has recently appeared open to the possibility of the striker playing for the club again.
Mancini, however, has previously stated Tevez would need to apologise to be considered for selection.
Tevez also said in his interview with Fox Sports in Argentina: "I do not think I was wrong, but if they [the club] think so I apologise.
"I am ready to return, to win and do the best for the club's shirt."

There have also been suggestions Tevez could drop his appeal to the Premier League against his fine of six weeks' wages - thought to be around £1.2million - to ease his reintegration.
City have not yet responded to the Fox interview, which also included a claim from Tevez that Mancini treated him "like a dog" in Munich.
Tevez said Mancini had been angered by the reaction of striker Edin Dzeko to being substituted when the controversial incident involving him occurred.
Tevez said: "I was kind of in a bad mood and when he brings on (Nigel) de Jong and takes off Dzeko, and we're losing 2-0, I thought it was a defensive substitution so I decided to sit back on the bench.
"I had already warmed up for 10 minutes and he has this attitude that he wants to lose 2-0 instead of 4-0.
"So I sat down and at the same time Dzeko comes off and is really angry and has a go at Mancini.
"He then sees the tunnel is closed so he has to sit down next to him and they start to have an argument.
"Dzeko was speaking Bosnian and Mancini would swear at him in Italian so it was a real mess.
"So I go and sit down and he doesn't see me because he's having this discussion. But then he turns around and sees me and you can imagine what happens.
"He's in the middle of an argument so then he tells me to keep on warming up and treats me like a dog."
Tevez also said he would be ready to play in two weeks' time but City are thought likely to give him fitness tests.

Boring. Must be Tuesday.
Tevez says that Mancini said some horrible things to him in Munich. How would he know, at the time Mancini didn't speak much English and Tevez certainly didn't having been in England for 4-5 years!! After the FA Cup Final he was asked to say few words and that's all we got, "thank you"
This bloke cannot keep his mouth shut. For a player trying to build bridges between his manager, club and fans, he is going about it the wrong way. He should be avoiding all interviews and keep below the media radar unless it is to congratulate him on his performance. I hope he plays just to get him in the shop window so we can sell him for a profit and use the money in the summer to buy his replacement. Tevez shut your mouth for once and let your feet do the talking, you need the club more than it needs you. This is your shop window play well and keep your strop's to yourself or nobody will want you.
Better to lose the league without him than win it with him. It'd stick in every true City fan's throat to have to admit we needed him to win the Premiership. If it comes down to waiting another season for the Premier League trophy or letting that self-serving clown have a winner's medal and a share of the glory he doesn't deserve I'd be more than happy to wait! Blueforever!
All set for a lifetime of sweeping all that dust from City's trophy cabinet. I'll be long gone before they get anywhere near reaching the trophy total United have in the last 20 years!
Carlos Tevez, you are a sour loser. So since no one wanted you and your services, you dicided to come back and mend fences? Tevez, I have no respect for you and your foolish behaviour!!!
He should stay in Argentina. If he thinks he was treated badly by the club (& Mancini) then just wait until he see's the fans reaction.
welcome back to the home of 2 restaurants and misrable weather.....
Roses are red, violets are blue
Go home Carlos we don't want you,
I know exactly how you feel Carlos. My boss also treats me like a dog. The only difference is I am paid around one per cent of your salary. Still, I am sorry that rude Mr Mancini hurt your feelings...isn't it past your bedtime now?
great interview before your return,i wonder could all his money buy a brain cell
Any "welcoming" committee of fans at the training ground?
It’s time to have a rethink about the Tevez situation. I used to think that Tevez was a complete and utter moron. He has, however, done these things in the last few days : claimed that SAF is the best manager he has ever worked with. Claimed that us City fans. were wrong to criticise him after Munich. Claimed that Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs are among the best professionals he has worked with………
Maybe he’s not so dumb after all ???
The transaltion of that interview is very poor, Tevez did not say Mancini swore. Apart from that i'd just like to say Tevez is a complete rat bag !!
Yahoo!
Now City will be invinsible... no wonder the rags are flapping in complete panic!
Aguero, Tevez and Balotelli. Is there a better attacking force anywhere? There's even Dzeko as a backup. Awesome!
Offering to donate your March salary / total income to at least one local charity of your choice, as a good-will gesture to the City of Manchester, would speak volumes, Carlos Tevez. Then, we shall see.
In the meantime, let's see if you enjoy humble-pie.......
Tevez 1- City 0
I am not taking in any of the nonsense written in the papers, i will believe what i hear only when it comes from the horses mouth, leave it to the club to decide, they are the ones paying his wages, and i am sick of all the rags saying how stupid and deluded city would be to have him back after what he did,and that SAF wouldn't have him back, well he is contracted to city until at least this summer and that is only if somebody wants to buy him, so why not use him if he is willing to come back cap in hand and admit he was wrong and apologise, and also if he proves he is fit and willing, lets face it SAF says no player is bigger than the club and when they think they are then there is no place for them at the club, well SAF Rooney thought he was bigger than the club by wanting a big pay rise or he would leave the club, remember, and guess what ,you paid it to him,and at the time all the reds wanted to get rid of him, but since then,he has proved his worth on more than a few occasions,
£600 For Bayern Munich away. Any chance of a rebate?
Lets get this in perspective he needs to come back to get fit to get his transfer and wages City have to do the right thing or he can claim unfair treatment despite his absense so lets see where we go I doubt he will get further than the subs bench maybe the odd subsitute appearance this way City will not be at risk.
club doctor...? he needs a brain scan. to check if he's got one.
A word of advice Carlos, whatever you do,get yourself a new agent, this one is wrecking your career !!
Last season it took hom forever to get back to the club and get fully fit, his goalscoring and commitment dried up after the Christmas period which probably would have put us up there with the eventual winners and this year when we needed him in Europe and during another "cold" spell he dissapeared again !!! (Shades of Robhino)
Oh yes, he's a real team player and I'm sure he will be totally dedicated to our club - right until he finally gets that transfer.
It was bad enough that he came from the scum side and we took him in. Now he's really rubbing our noses in it !! Once a rag always a rag and the odour never goes.
Please Roberto remember that we do not want any past reds and also that the strongest team must always be played against the red scum for a convincing win every time !!!!!
It's non-negotiable.
I would only allow carlos back if all the squad 100% agrees to it.......
So he has arrived back at Carrington, do we expect him to be fit? He wasn't fit after the Copa America and the club had only given him two weeks off, he's been awol for two months. He had even managed to be fit enough to play 90 minutes even by the Bayern game.
I think we may just be panicking over nothing, afterall just because he has come back doesn't mean Roberto has to select him. He'll be lucky to be fit in time for the QPR game.
I guess you have to consider that Roberto got it wrong, afterall dog's seldom bite the hand that feeds them. I find it interesting that he has suddenly developed linguistic skills, unable to speak English yet obviously able to translate Bosnian and Italian, we underestimate him folks.
