City gave Owen Hargreaves a 45-minute run-out at Gigg Lane, and had Wayne Bridge at left back, but the Shakers took the lead when Francisco de Silva’s error handed Danny Hudson a chance.
City, who also fielded triallists Seraphim Mihajlov and Tomas Navarrete, peppered the home side’s goal but had to wait for the second half to score the three goals which won it.
Abdul Razak, who replaced Hargreaves at half time, surprised keeper Richard Branagan with a long-range shot to equalise on 49 minutes.
The Blues moved ahead on 64 minutes when Bridge swung in a great cross from the left flank, and when sub Jordi Hiwula’s attempt was blocked Freddie Veseli
followed up to net.
The win was secured when Joan Angel Roman cut in from the flank and let fly, his shot taking a big deflection past Branagan off defender Jordan Melia.
CITY: Johansen, Wabara, Bridge, De Silva, Veseli, Navarrete, Roman, Hargreaves (Razak), Mihajlov (Hiwula), Suarez, Helan (Elabdellaoui).

Some very good players amongst these on view.
Pleased also to see Bridge had a run out .
These young lads have got a golden opportunity and should be doing everything possible to break into the first team squad.
It will be interesting to see how the Sky commentator's get on if De Silva makes the first team!!
Hargreaves needs to play games on a regular basis.
