That is the bold prediction of the first Argentine star to make a big impact in English football, Spurs legend Ossie Ardiles.
Aguero burst on to the scene with two goals and an assist as the Blues blew away Swansea 4-0 in their first game of the season.
And Ardiles suggested he is already the best striker in Manchester, having the edge on team-mate Carlos Tevez and United kingpin Wayne Rooney.
“Tevez and Rooney are number tens who can drop deep and create as well as score goals, and, while Sergio can also do that, he is a goalscorer, he loves scoring and he will score plenty of goals in English football,” said Ardiles, who now runs soccer schools in the south.
Ardiles won the World Cup with Argentina before moving to Spurs and winning two FA Cups, in 1981 and 1982. And he is a big fan of City’s £38m signing. “He scored around 24 goals last season in an average Atletico Madrid side,” said Ardiles. “Now Sergio is in England with a very good team, he will be up there scoring and will be England's top goalscorer, for sure.”
Some have already suggested that Aguero, with his low centre of gravity, pace and control, is City’s answer to Lionel Messi.
But Ardiles stops short of such praise: “Sergio has the ability and the talent to go all the way. But, as far as Messi? No, not quite that far.”
Meanwhile, Aguero and team-mate Pablo Zabaleta were joined by fellow countryman and Liverpool player Maxi Rodriguez as they visited Daytona Manchester to take part in a go-karting grand prix. First place was taken by Zabaleta with Aguero taking silver medal.
Aguero is a keen racing fan and runs his own team back home in Argentina called 'Kun Competicion'.

No Tevez then ?
Top man Ossie so right again Sergio better than The Roo. Love it!
Glad I got down the bookies before his debut, the odds will have fallen so much since that game that it's probably not worth a bet anymore.
This can't be right, surely? I thought there were only two restaurants in Manchester with nothing else to do for entertainment? Surely Kia and Carlito can't both be wrong?
Great to see that Sergio has tapped into the Zabaleta way off life...i.e. socialising, enjoying his surroundings, exploring the city, intergrating himself into British life and more than likely learning the language too. Welcome to Manchester Kun.
City will win the quadruple.
Aguero will wil the golden boot.
Yaya will be player of the year.
City will go unbeaten.
UEFA will give City a free card to do anything they want with the owners money.
City will buy Messi.
...oh wait, all you have done is beat a newly promoted small team from Wales...
Will MUEN please picture.please please stop putting red pictures up on this side of the site.
He may well, ...........but so what???, especially now at this time of the season, all this hysterical hype is unbelievable.
We live in Britain, not the America, where this type of thing was born, and has, unfortunately been imported here, ..............................this is a Manchester City player, not one from Manchester United.
I think Mancini really has a job on his hands to protect this lad from all this nonsense.
ps (To: "The team who wouldn't die")
That's the point I'm making, most of all this sarcastic crap you've come out with is normally embelished on your beloved Rags. At least one thing, your consistent with the empty-headed, inane lunacy you come out with.
I truly believe "Kun" is what the Premier league has been waiting for a player that everyone gasps at when they get the ball. Ossie knows a thing or two about football as he was also a great from the 80's.. Teams will be wary of him as he has it all pace, skill and bags of energy which in the Prem will pay dividends. Ronaldo. he had pace, skill and energy and look what them over the road got out of him. I wouldn't bet against him being top scorer or even taking us to the title which ever one it may be and with the inevitable addition of Nasri. this guy has all the back up he needs to fulfill his and City's goals.
I believe we have the best team in the Prem and now they must deliver be it another cup or a league title. I would settle for another Cup and a very close run in the Premier but I am easy to please and any more than that for me would be a huge bonus. I think this group of players will start really being really successful next season or even the season after when they bed down and know each other better.
I know Mancini must deliver but there has to be a base line of course, but he'll be expected to go out and win everything there is to win which for me is a massive ask. I am not dampening our chances and would be over the moon if we did do. I am just being realistic and if we can push on from last season then for me that is progress yet again.
When you think that Adebayor is on £175k Bellamy £90 Santa Cruz on another high wage it makes Sergio's wage look cheap. If he can contribute week in week out like he did against Swansea then he is underpaid.
It looks a given he will get at least 20 goals in the PL alone barring injuries and suspensions so on that basis whatever he costs looks a bargain. Just hope that he will not be man marked to death but then if he is that will free up space for players like Silva etc. which is will have teams dreading facing a full strength City.
Glad to see the mainly positive reaction from the media towards City since Monday but then again Hansen and co didn't get a chance to slate us on MOTD. I heard Glen Hoddle say we were totally outplayed in the first half the other night, betcha if Spurs had turned in a performance like that we would never hear the end of it from him. Plenty of time for City to prove the doubters wrong and at last i can say that with confidence.

To all these pathetic rags on here, lets just mull over a few facts:
Q: We have no class and have a bunch of mercenaries?
A: Did Rooney not threaten to the leave your club that had 'no ambition' (his words not mine) in order to bolster his wages to £250,00 per week from a club already saddled with unthinkable debts?
Q: Our fans are a bunch of bitter clueless morons with no class?
A: Was is not your hooded hoodlum fans that set fires outside said Rooney's mansion with the sole intention to scare him into not signing for City or indeed any other club, a week later he's a hero again? (pure class that).
Q: Our club's owners are using Manchester City as a hobby with no real interest and they are a disgrace ruining football?
A: Is it not your owners that are pimping every last dime out of your 'beloved' club with no real interest in football and their only goal to make a fast buck? Whereas our owners have pumped £100'S of MILLIONS into the club, the surrounding community and the north west economy as a whole, it does not take more than 2 braincells to realise who gets the better deal here.
So to all you sad bitter, jealous rags who continually post on our side of the forum, your only fuelling an already obvious fact that YOUR the ones obsessed with our club. Go away and watch your old VHS tapes of past glories, because the dreams of the future are far better than the history of the past.
Having seen what he can do on monday I agree he could well be top scorer this season no doubt. However I think we should use him sparingly. If he can come on and do that in 25 minutes against a lesser albeit well organised side who played adecent standard of football then I would advocate using him as a super sub against mid/lower table opposition and only starting him in the big games against the usual contenders for the top four places. Once Nasri comes we should have enough attacking options in the squad to deal with most teams without looking to Aguero for all the goals. Dzeko is looking sharper now and will also be in the hunt for a double figure goal tally. It's key we ensure Aguero stays fit for the crunch games after Christmas when hopefully we be in the race for the title and progressing to the later stages of the champions league.
I think this sort of speculation is too soon, despite Sergio`s obvious brilliant talent. But off topic, I didn`t know that Nedum`s agent was the dreaded Kia Joorabchian until I read it on the Teletext this morning. That connection probably sealed Nedum`s fate and ruined any chance he had of playing himself back into favour with the club.
Talk about knee jerk reactions.
He scored 24 goals in the Spanish League last season, a league that is about the standard of the SPL where it's all about Celtic and Rangers, in Spain it's all about Barca and ReaL Madrid.
He's scored 2 goals against the mighty SWANSEA and he's already won the Golden Boot.
Do me a favour, all you Etihad's were worshipping Adebasyor a couple of seasons ago and look where he is now.
Mario's hat was a sign to say that the hand of God was to send down the real angel of the north to look after us.
Golden boot after one game, i think Sergio must be thinking this league must not be as hard as i have been told.
After this amazing first game, I am now convinced that bitters will win 19 titles soon
absolutely ridiculous claims after one game.
lets get on with football and stop all this spouting off.
last season every time before a game someone said something it always backfired.
I`m drooling, I`m drooling...........
More deluded comments for all you bitters to feed on, keep taking your medications.
Round of applause to Zab in my opinion, he won the Go Kart Grand Prix and he still puts Kun in the prime spot for the pic's !
Good to see one of the clubs most committed squad members and top assets with his younger countryman on a social !
watch this space
Perhaps I'm being a bit cynical, but winning a golden boot doesn't actually bring anything to the club. I honestly don't care if a rag, Chelsea or Liverpool player walks off with the award....... just as long as we as a team, finish the season with more points in the bag.
So far we've only seen a third of a game from Sergio, but that half hour was enough to suggest he's got a lot more than just goals in his locker. If he isn't banging them in himself, he'll be putting them on a plate for one of his team mates!
For all those rags that were give us a load of cr*p re: the Eiteid Stadium being arabic for united. Well did you know SAF as a racehorse called MAGIC CITY.
This boy is the complete package,it would be nice for our nosey neighbours who infest our pages,to give us the lowdown on KUN.
