Joe Hart: FA Cup semi-final victory means the world to Manchester City

HOLDING FIRM: Joe Hart denies Nani
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart was delighted with his side's 1-0 FA Cup semi-final win over derby rivals Manchester United but warned that the trophy is not theirs yet.

City conducted triumphant celebrations at Wembley after Yaya Toure's 52nd-minute goal sent Roberto Mancini's men into the final but there was a word of caution from Hart alongside the expected glee.

"It means the world, just look at us," said Hart after a match that also saw United veteran Paul Scholes sent off for an ugly challenge in the second half.

"The boys are over the moon, the fans are over the moon and the staff are over the moon but we've won nothing yet," Hart told ITV1.

"We've done nothing yet but we've got got ourselves in a good position in the league and in the final and I'm so happy for the people (fans) here."

Turning to Toure's goal, coming on the back of a Michael Carrick error, Hart said: "It was a fantastic goal, he was fired up at half-time. He's an emotional guy and he lets his emotion show on the pitch."

What do you think? Have your say.

Superman, Supermen. I'm going to watch the match again in a bit. It's difficult to explain how I feel because my head is filled with a million sparks. You did us prouder than proud today. I'm so happy for all at the club. They have worked really hard.

The final whistle markedsuch a change in the force it set off an earthquake here in christchurch nz. Up very early to viiew the game - a last we managed to see a game out - probably should have nicked the second goal. Maybe harsh but still unconvinced about Kolorov however, Silva is sheer class and Yaya finally getting credit for his qualities. Now win the final please.

I was watching the match on ITV. Does anyone agree that they cut things off abruptly after the game finished? No interviews with the managers, hardly any post-match talk. Add to that the poor Adrian Chiles and the incessant babbling throughout the game as usual by Clive Tyldesley. Not good coverage.

The occasion got the better of the city players for the first 20-30 mins, but i think we defended very well through out, and once we got over the nerves we played really really well right across the board. well done to them all and to Mancini for going with an attacking formation.

You saved us big Joe, for a young lad of 23 years old you were head and shoulders above everybody. Every blue is proud of you

Joe was Man of the Match for me for his saves that kept us in it at 0-0 especially the world class save from Berbatov. Let's now win it for Neil Young but beware Bolton who are out to win it for Nat Lofthouse.

Have to admit i was taken in by the anti city press and did not expect to win. After all according to them we were not a happy dressing room and we had no Tevez and we cant win if he does not play (wrong) If I am not mistaken I think we have never lost ?
Anyway preparing for that game was like waiting for the executioner on death row, however it was the executioner who came knocking it was YaYa with a pardon!

Dunno who man of the match was,,,,, but I'd give it to Hart. His saves were worth goals.
