ROBINHO will face no reprimand when he returns to City from international duty with Brazil.
The Blues' record signing caused a furore after he stayed with Dunga's team in Qatar last week, when Mark Hughes had expected him to return to his team's training camp in Abu Dhabi.
But the fact that the Brazilian FA recognised the player was not fit to face England, and that he also seems unlikely to face Oman in Tuesday's friendly, has defused the row.
Brazil coach Dunga last night said he had 'primarily brought Robinho for him to recover and speed up his return to action'.
City have recognised the fact that Robinho had been officially called up to the Brazil squad for both games, and that Dunga was within his rights to call the player in for a medical examination, and also to insist that the player stayed with the squad.
Having been an international manager with Wales, Hughes understands the frustrations that Dunga has to deal with.
Hughes had originally been nonplussed after he had understood the player would fly to Doha, be assessed as unfit, and return for more rehabilitation and fitness work.
But the affair has been put down to a misunderstanding, and there will be no recriminations other than a quiet chat between player and manager.
Robinho is due to rejoin City on Thursday but is not expected to be available for Saturday's trip to Liverpool.

Robinho's done nothing wrong, I don't care if we pay his wages or not, this is his national team who are gonna be one of the favourites going in to the world cup which he'll desperately wanna be a part of. And because of that he won't be able to jeopardise his place in their team by not playing his best for us when he's fit...

Take away the fergietime winner and the spawny own goals and deflections you've benefitted from this season and you'd be in mid table mate....
If I was a swamp-dweller I'd be far more worried.

Micheal Johnson is with the U21's at the moment that's why he wasn't in Abu Dhabi.

It is as repetitive and as annoying as that shampoo advert from the 70s.
We all know he wants to go to Barcelona, he keeps feeding the stories through his intermediary, reports today that maybe an 18 month loan deal can be thrashed out with a guarantee they will buy at the end.
