Whether we have kids in or not this performance in the 1st half concerns me. Benjani is so slow Richard Dunne would crawl past him,Ireland is so innocuous you wonder if something is really up with him.
Furthermore our tempo is far too slow and our first touch is awful. It has to improve in the second half moreso because their keeper has hardly touched the ball in the first half.Friendly or not this is alarming does any other City fan agree?

Is it just me or has MH missed an oppurtunity to get Johnson, Kompany and few other first team members match fit. Even if they were on the bench and not a full game. This is a warm climate so the chance of getting an injury must be low. Would have liked to see more fringe players like Weiss get a run out and show his talent. Have to agree a bit of an insult not to have a stronger team not only for the host but also for the travelling fans

We are the so there new ground can get the tick in the box to host a crowd. They were going to invite man U but decided against it as Man U wanted a freebie to help pay there debt and were concerned Man U fans would attack the catering staff

lost 1-0 and I ask what kind of coaches do we have? absolutely awful,we lost possession far too easily the tempo far too slow and players such as Ireland,Zabaleta and Benjani did very little.
Someone tells me this Arab emirates team have won only one game in the last four years.
I doubt if our owners would have been impressed with this shambolic display.

Only Ned tried to play need him back for the 1st team. Can see why Benjani does not get a game. Plus like others have said I would have liked to have seen a stronger team sent out. Most of these young lads will not make the grade. Now the locals will think that is city's team & want nothing to do with us. M.H. should have used the game to give a few of the injured players a run out like Ned got.

poor performance from the lads and official stream. Ireland really didn't shine in 4-4-2. Yellow card showed his frustration.

God help us if given gets injured taylor is a joke and benjani is a big useless lump, we won't even be able to give him away in a raffle.Most of the young ones looked overawed by the occasion and would have been better replaced in the second half by a couple of senior players.

Just finished watching. Diabolical stuff. Zab, Neddy, Ireland and Benji all played, but we barely created a chance. Closest we came to scoring was when the centre half almost turned Nimely's cross into his own net late on. Nimely was probably the pick of the youngsters, but even he was fairly mediocre. Trippier and Vidal have got the physique for first team football, but their touch was dreadful.....and they were 2 of the better players. No pace or finesse anywhere, and even the senior players gave the ball away willy nilly. A useful run out for the youngsters, but that's about it.

awful, benjani was our 'goal threat' ... sums our team up really, did we have any shots from open play again? NO!

You do understand that most of that team was the youth team, it was a promotional friendly for gods sake, some of you are realy unbeleivable, you moan because the kids are`nt getting a look in & when they do you still f****** moan !!! CFL BELEIVE.

The issue isn't the side that was put out, as they were up against third rate opposition. The issue is that whether there is 200 million quids worth of talent, or the youngsters, with a sprinkling of first teamers the football is bobbins. This is down to the coaching staff and them alone. I'm dreading the Arsenal game,cos if they click, we'll get a good hiding.
