The Blues reached a "private amicable agreement" with Leeds United after the boys, Louis Hutton and George Swan, left the Yorkshire club's academy for Platt Lane.
The move, which took place earlier this year, was initially referred to the Professional Football Compensation Committee and was due to be heard by a tribunal.
But the tribunal was postponed when a member of the City staff due to attend fell ill, and in the meantime the Blues offered the League One club a private settlement.
Both clubs have refused to reveal the detail of the deal, but MEN Sport understands the initial figure was much lower, and the deal could be worth around £700,000 if both boys make the grade.
AN exhibition of paintings entitled "Man City and More" will be staged at the Sportcity Visitor Centre from November 7 to December 4. The work is by Salford artist and City fan Chris Sims featuring his heroes.

So, in other words, MEN has no idea what this deal is worth.......journalistic licence is alive and well then.
