City fixture changes

CITY have had seven fixtures re-arranged in line with television coverage for the new season.

The first time the Blues are on the box is against Portsmouth away on Sunday August 30, kick off 1.30pm, while the derby against United will also be shown on Sunday September 20, kick off 1.30pm.

The list of City's first batch of televised fixtures is as follows:

Portsmouth v City - Sunday, August 30, 1.30pm

United v City - Sunday September 20, 1.30pm

City v West Ham - Monday September 28, 8pm (ESPN)

Aston Villa v City - Monday October 5, 8pm (ESPN)

Wigan v City - Sunday October 18, 4pm

Birmingham v City - Sunday November 1, 4pm

Liverpool v City - Saturday November 21 - 12.45pm

Fixtures on Sky unless otherwise specified

Only one home game in the first seven televised! Don't they like our stadium or are they just hoping to see us lose? Must brush that chip off my shoulder.

Barnham, I`m with you mate. I reckon they`re aiming for our away fixtures in the hope that our shocking away form continues from last season. Be that much sweeter when we start turning over all sorts on their own patch in front of millions. Bring it on! City are back!

Only one home game but moving it to Monday night is a killer for those of us who travel any distance. Happy with the away changes though.

This moving for TV gets on my nerves.

There will me now be no weekend home game from 12/9 until the 24/10!

Look at Sky's opening weekend live fixtures. Utd, liverpool and Chelsea. What stunning originality. that's breathtakingly risky. That'll be Suckers Sunday then.

That's the nature of the beast these day's,(SkY & now ESPN).It's pointless
printing a fixture list,we should just wait for Sky to ring or E-Mail Premier league club's & let the club's tell us what arrangement's we have
to make throughout the season.

Good job I booked my flight for the Monday after the OT Derby. The last time I flew from Florida home for the Derby we won 2-1.

Flights Orlando - Manchester 500 quid, Hospitality and ticket package 200 quid, watching Benj shoulder one in and Vass scuff one in, PRICELESS !

Glad the Portsmouth game has been moved to the Sunday as it means I don't have to upset my daughter by telling her I can't giver her away at her wedding on the Saturday

How would that list have been when we actually played in Europe? At least for the homefans there's the one and only 3pm Sats ko, WHU apart. Not a better day and time to start a game.
