Signed for around £700,000 from Shrewsbury, Hart has proved an astute buy by then-boss Stuart Pearce. He won the three-way battle for the Blues first team shirt in the 2007/2008 season ahead of Andreas Isaksson and Kasper Schmeichel and has since broken into the senior England squad.
