6 CORLUKA: distribution was not at its best and never really settled into rhythm
8 DUNNE: absolutely terrific won everything against a lively and robust forward line
6 BEN HAIM: much better in the middle than at left back in first leg not troubled much
7 BALL: another to impress. Made goal-saving tackle and cross for late leveller
7 IRELAND: got through awful lot of work in a midfield that was hard pressed
7 JOHNSON: never able to dominate but better and better as the game wore on
7 RICHARDS: found it hard going in central midfield and happier at the back
6 PETROV: main threat was well marshalled and his shooting radar not tuned in
5 ELANO: had a most frustrating afternoon when nothing he tired went his way
5 JO: perhaps too early to judge but he will have to offer a great deal more

johnson and ireland a 7 ?? youre having a laff...they were both very poor and never gave us a foothold in midfield or a platform for elano.
the whole team misfired and the only bright sparks were ched evans and sturridge again. but onwards and upwards...it was nearly a classic away performance IF we'd have done the bizz at home.
Yeah, I think we all know it was a bad performance but we're through that's the main thing, did any of actually think City would do it the easy way. Jo needs time to settle in so lets not be too harsh on him. SWP is back home and there may be a couple more on the way so lets just look forward to the ride ahead!

Chris what game were you watching? Dunney went completely missing last 15 of the 90. Didn`t look interested. Lost his man, showing no real desire to correct. Luckily the Danes were abysmal in front of goal. Looked to me like our "captain" gave up on the game when he should have been driving more from everyone. Sorry Dunney, i love you mate but that`s not good enough. Johnson? New contract? You`re havin a laugh pal.

For once can't argue much with the ratings. Good to see Dunnie make amends for his error in 1st leg while Ball had his best game for some time. Rode our luck a bit but I'd rather get a result than looking fine & fancy in going out. Subs worked well too so lets pray for a good draw in the next round. A good holiday destination would do me!

JOHNSON 7 ? he is a disgrace to the shirt, over hyped and overly confident in his own mediocre abilities, he will prove to be a flop. Missed a sitter, missed a penalty, looked second best to most of their side throughout and has been like this in most games he plays, has the odd good one which is not good enough, Dont care that he's only young, so is Messi. Johnson is Championship material, with Ireland who is so far from being a winger its untrue. Very poor.

some scores here way off the mark. Jo 5? 4 at best. very poor. Johnson, i like him but he got better as the game wore on did. er no. missed pen and missed simple one on one. only players with any credit today were hart, dunne and charlie. ireland bust but ineffectual. we were VERY luck y today but we should be happy and now go on and win it!

Same as usual when we have a game like this it was that dominant experienced midfield general we lacked. May be Kompany would have been that today. If anyones place is in jeopardy after today it should be Johnno not SI but Petrov, Jo & Elano were poor today. Evans has the heart and bottle to go far and reminds be a bit of a young Robbie Keane, just needs the goals to suceed. Happy day all in all and MH has some selection decisions with squad numbers now swelled.
Hope there is more from Jo otherwise Chad and Danny must be worth 20 Million each.Johnson was not at the races today very poor and Tel played even worse than him.Plus side we are through and can only get better with Kompany SWP still to play.
