City linked to Dindane

CITY are being linked with Ivory Coast international striker Aruna Dindane.

The £10m-rated Lens star had knee surgery at the end of the French season and is expecvted to be out until October.

But that has not stopped a number of Premier League clubs tracking his progress, with Wigan, Fulham and Portsmouth also showing strong interest. Top French sides St Etienee, nancy and Lyon are also keen

Five ft nine ins Dindane represented his country at the last World Cup and joined Lens three years ago from Belgian club Anderlecht, where he won two league titles and was named the best player in the league.

News paper talk, nothing more, why would we buy someone who wont even be fit till nearly november anyway. Its obvious what we need quality holding midfield enforcer, SWP, back on the right wing, and a decent left back....Interesting fact it takes 25 hours for a hen too make an egg..but only 2 minutes to eat it.

Why the heck are we looking at a striker....again ? WE have the two misfis from Italy, the two guys from the reserves who are both supposed to be good. We have the two Hispanics on the outer edge and we have two players who we have paid large sums for. And....we play "ONE" up front ! OMG !

Watched City V Ports last night and Benjani looked good. I'm sure if you played someone alongside him he would be banging them in regularly. Oh, and I'm a Stevie Ireland fan but OMG...he had the worst match I've ever seen him play. Misplaced passes...mis control....gave up chasing every ball and got shoved off every one on one. Petrov, although very frustrating is still the best crosser of the ball. Actually, City V West Ham was on last week (FA Cup) and he made Lucas Neil look so bad he had to be taken off. Please MH do not get this player!

Its time we signed a hard tackling midfield ball winner next in the mould of gattuso. This position more than any other needs adressing first over r/w or l/b as we dont have any cover in central midfield.
Weiss[r/w] and ryan mcgivern[l/b] may be the answer in time but lets sort midfield first as our main priority.

I do believe there is some truth in this as Hughes is looking for another striker. Personally, one player who I've always liked and has pace to burn is Farfan at PSV. We do need someone with pace who can score (sorry Vass that rules you out) as it just gives us another option.

Zzzzzzz! As if we're gonna buy another forward without shipping 3 or 4 out first. I'll warrant there's not one single grain of truth in this story. Pointless speculation.
On the subject of St Micah, sorry but he's not a good enough footballer to play the holding midfield roll. You need to be able to pass the ball and control it to play there. Not Micah's forte, despite him being a phenomenal athlete and tackler.
Anyone know if Johnson's signed a new deal yet?
