Corradi signed a three-year contract at City in July 2006 but was sent off on his Premier League debut and failed to settle at the club.
The 32-year-old was shipped out on loan to Parma at the beginning of last season and could now be set for a permanent return to his native Italy.
"Reggina are interested in him and he is interested in the amaranto club," Roggi told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"However, in the middle are Manchester City and a contract for another season.
"We have to see how talks go between City and Reggina. On our part I can say that we are interested in that possibility because we consider that the Calabrians offer an environment which can give trust and good feeling to Bernardo.
"The player needs to feel appreciated and the 35,000 fans at the Granillo, with their warmth, can make him feel the faith he needs."
The sale of veteran Reggina striker Nicola Amoruso to Torino has the increased the likelihood of a move to the Stadio Oreste Granillo for Corradi.
However, it has also decreased the chances of striker Rolando Bianchi securing a move away from Eastlands as the forward was reportedly close to securing a deal at Torino.
Meanwhile, it is understood Mark Hughes is understood to be weighing up an approach for out-of-favour Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim who has endured an unhappy 12 months after moving from Bolton last summer. Tweet

would be good to get rid of corradi.not sure on the bianchi front.if ben haim can get his form back id take him.did wel at bolton
according to a few of the papers this morning City are in talks with Ben Haim and are favorites to beat Spurs and Pompey to his signature. Would be a decent addition to the squad, not given much chance at Chelsea, but did well whilst at Bolton and weighed in with a few goals.
get rid of him(corradi) already!! he's been enough trouble. we spent way way to much for bianchi.
That photo says it all, I don't have a clue what's going on. Please let it be true that he is moving on. Knowing City's luck, he will reject offers because he has a great contract with us.
This good news regarding Corradi, but i still think considering the money we paid for Bianchi he's still worth a bat.
Tal Ben Haim - LEFT BACK PLEASE!!
Off the topic, now we know the players at the training camp.
Hart(Schmeichel 46), Onuoha (Mee 77), Richards (Williamson 77), Dunne (Garrido 55), Ball (Logan 55), Petrov (Weiss 65), Johnson, Hamann (Ireland 46), Vassell (M.Mills 77), Bianchi (Castillo 65), Corradi (Evans 46).
Tal Ben Haim as what, defensive cover or something more?
I seem to remember, when he was at the Trotters, he could play anywhere in the back 4 but was used as CB.
If he is happy on either foot maybe we could play him at left CB, let Dunney go back to right CB, Micah or Charlie could then be tried at DM!
Or maybe just stick him straight in at LB?
What does the panel think?
Needless to say with this pair of donkeys upfront in the friendly yesterday we managed to score no goals!
"However, in the middle are Manchester City and a contract for another season."
Which is code for "we don't want to pay for him cos we value him at nowt an' all"
Keep Bianchi Hughesy
I was at the game last night in Tegernsee. We played against some Ukraine outfit and drew O-O.
Cracking opportunity to meet and chat with the players and have some class photos done. Pride of place has to be mine with Jo bending down to fit on the same picture. hes massive. Of course the game was a bit of a secondary issue, not much to report.
Positives. Ched Evans must have impressed Hughesy with his bite and effort. Micah and Dunnie were solid at the back
Negatives..Bianchi didnt look bovvered, Boji didnt even have a kit on and spent most of the game on his mobile phone. Johnno looked knackered and unfit.
Class line of the night from Eddie Nedz..."Johnno you t***" when he gave the ball away in his own box...
City started with
Hart, Onouha, Richards, Dunne, Ball, Vassell, Hamann, Johnson, Petrov, Bianchi and Corradi
Subs used. Schmeichal, Logan, Williamson, Mee, Matt Mills, Castillo. Weiss, Ireland, Evans, Garrido
Not dressed to play. Bojinov, Jo, Caicedo
Not present
Corluka, Elano, Sturridge
Fair dues to all the players for stopping for a chin wag and a photo though. Great evening out. MEN a bit more notice WHERE they are playing in the future would be nice!
I would like Bianchi to stay and prove himself.Ben Haim would be a good signing for manchester city.
Keep Bianchi. Hilarious comment about Reggina's 35000 fanatical fans. If that's what he's after, Corradi will be sadly disappointed as the ground hold less than 28000 and usually attracts less than half that!
BEN HIAM...NO WE NEED TO BE AIMING HIGHER THAN THAT
Moonich Blue how are you going to get tickets to the Hamburg game will it be easy?
moonich blue - Good solid piece or reporting! Well done sir. We're not used to readeing "facts" on this site so well done.
I'd say Chris Bailey is sorry he was off in Italy now!
Tel Ben Haim would be a great signing off the topic. ok he's got his faults but he's a useful left footed defender who can play at centre back and full back. Did well at Bolton and would be a great addition to the squad in my opinion. only problem maybe that he moved to chelsea on a Bosman so whats the bets his wages are huge!

thanks for sharing that, much appreciated, in fact i could read plenty more of what you have to say about the game and your general thoughts on how things seemed to be going - if you have the time that is, but not to worry if you haven't. thanks again for doing this (so-called) newspaper's job.
Tal Ben Haim is slow and rubbish I really hope we don't sign him..you can tell Hughes was a striker if he thinks this guy is worth anything.
Ben Haim wud be a decent addition at 3m max
Lets hope the Corradi deal goes through. As for Bianchi, I'd like to see him given another chance.
To be fair, the service wasn't great for him & he always looks likely to grab a goal in the 6 yard box. He's basically a poacher (a poor mans Van Nistelroy) & may be worth keeping in the squad. Having said that, if his hearts not with MCFC & he wants to go back to Italy, then maybe we should cut our losses & get rid.
What happened to Benjani ?
Is anyone else getting a little impatient with the transfers at the mo ? Spurs seem to be really active , Villa are approaching targets too , yet we seem to be really quiet on that front with our season starting before anyone else . I know he has his targets but I'm getting edgy for the first time like a few other fans.
Not Ben Haim but Zhirkov please
