The teenage right-back is one of four City Academy graduates to have spent much of the season out on loan as boss Sven-Goran Eriksson looks to bolster their first-team experience.
Keeper Kasper Schmeichel has been out at Cardiff and now Coventry, striker Kelvin Etuhu is at Leicester and fellow forward Ched Evans has been making an impression at Norwich.
Wythenshawe-born Logan, meanwhile, has been flitting between League Two and the Championship.
Having gone to League Two side Grimsby for a month in October, he immediately followed that with a spell at Championship strugglers Scunthorpe.
And he has spent the last month a little closer to home, helping Stockport's bid for promotion from League Two - Jim Gannon's side has won all five games in which he has figured. The 19-year-old has just had that loan deal extended until the end of the season, and is looking forward to trying to end a memorable campaign with a promotion.
That would be the perfect end to Logan's season, which started with the offer of a three-year contract at Eastlands and continued with his senior Blues debut, in the Carling Cup win at Bristol City in August.
He said: "I think that this season has gone really well for me. My first spell was at Grimsby, which went OK. I really enjoyed Scunthorpe after that, as it set me on my way, really. Now I've been at Stockport for a month.
Enjoyed
"They play good football there, and I've enjoyed my time at Edgeley Park the most out of the three loan moves. I've played 16 games this season, and I've been learning all the time.
"Now I'm looking forward to getting in a few more before the end of the season."
Logan's versatility - he can play at left-back as well as right-back - and his attacking instincts have caused Eriksson to compare him to controversial Chelsea and England full-back Ashley Cole. It is not a comparison that Logan encourages, but he is happy that he has had the chance to show his attacking side this season.
He added: "I have played more as a right-winger for Grimsby and Stockport. It gave me the chance to get forward more than I normally do, and I like that position.
"My natural position is right-back, but I'll always take any chance to have a go on the right wing. I'll play left-back, right-back, wherever I'm asked to play. I don't mind."
Logan's target for next season is to break into City's Premier League side, having made both of his first-team appearances to date for the Blues in the Carling Cup.
He said: "It has been a decent season for me. It was great to be offered a new contract early on, and I think getting all these games under my belt has helped me improve."

His versatility makes him a strong candidate for the bench for starters, if not a start.
We're not exactly over-endowed with right wingers. Classy though he is, it is a sign of desperation to me that Nery plays on the right when he is so left-footed.
Although Sven says, 'Nery prefers to play on the right', he surely realises that any experienced defender in the Prem will push him out to the touchline and snuff out most of Nery's threat.
The fact that Shaleum can play at left or right back indicates that he is two footed. In addition, he has pace to be a useful right winger. All in all, he is a bright prospect for the future.
