Dabo linked with Serie A move

Ousmane Dabo

CITY midfielder Ousmane Dabo could be set to follow Rolando Bianchi to Serie A.

Dabo has made just one substitute appearance in the Carling Cup this season, and Siena and Fiorentina have both been linked with a swoop for the Frenchman.

Meanwhile, Bianchi played his first game on loan at Lazio on Sunday and was sent off. The Italian came on after 60 minutes but was back in the changing room five minutes later after picking up two yellows in the 0-0 draw with Torino.

Bianchi must be happy. He's swapped 40,000 fans singing his name even when he was poor or not even on the pitch for 14000 which is roughly the number who watched his brief contribution, if that's the right word, yesterday! We should give Dabo away to get him out before Thursday!

Just another unimportant article. Players of this calibre should already be out of the club. This has no relevance to the matter in hand, which is, that no matter how far City have come this season, this transfer window was an opportunity to push on again and add to the great but unexpected start we've had.
For me we are crying out for a right winger and a target man to assist Sturridge or Bojinov. Vassell and Mpenza
aren't good enough.

I thought I had found the answer to our problems fellow blues!

I've just phoned the South Manchester Donkey Sanctuary asking if they have room for anymore. The woman on the other end of the phone said there's plenty of room so I offered them Dabo and Samaras . When I mentioned Samaras she put the bloody phone down!! Oh well back to the drawing board on that one!

Can't believe teams from Serie A would want Dabo - they both must be near the bottom of the league. As for bianchi - well, maybe he did learn something at CoMS after all (as well as how to eat fish and chips English style).

Easier said than done getting players out of a club as a) somebody has to want them and b)somebody has to want to pay their wages. The likes of Dabo, Samaras, Mills etc. are unlikely to be offered the sort of wages they are getting here given their non appearances so may prefer to see out their lucrative contracts. They may be lacking in ambition but it's not their or the current regime's fault that they are on these contracts which is why Sven is right not to buy just for the sake of it if he can't get the players he wants now. We don't need any more hangers on we can't get rid of if they don't perform.
