Ah, beautiful. Relegated by a Joey Barton hattrick!! Only joking, it'll all be over long before then, won't it Bertie?!

Let's pray we have a manager and a decent team by then....

Go forward 8 months, I can see the healines now "Barton goal resigns City to the Championship"! Oh dear I hope not!!

Sorry but not had much to be optimistic about just lately, I can't think why???

WHO CARES real city fans care

BORING! You have the big four followed by Everton, Spurs, West Ham & Villa. So we are fighting for 9th place downwards. May as well fill in the league table now and do away with playing the games. There we go, City 14th again. Perhaps we can do better on the 08/09 season!

Or it could be "Barton misses out on Europe after beating by old mates".

Nurse I think I've wet myself.

Relegate by Barton,...more likely to be relegated by Xmas!!

WHU 3-0 CITY
CITY 0-1 DERBY
CITY 0-1 UTD
ARSENAL 4-0 CITY
Chris Coleman gets sacked then we bring Warnock in...
The results continue like this all season and we go down.
Warnock leaves and we appoint Dave Bassett.
We have a bad championship, get relagated into league 1 and we go into admin...

The End

Well said Humps! I care. Supporters who don't care are by definition no longer supporters and should clear off once and for all.

I think thats an OK start. You don't want all the poor teams early doors or you dip when you play the good sides.

Its soon going to be to late give Frank till friday to sort his mess out and if he doesnt think of the club first and the supporters we hate getting the mick taken out of us but what am i saying its same old same old manager comes in to late and we find our self bottom of the league and a laughing stock as we havent signed and body and in all honesty who would want to come to us.

Come on sort it out this weekend

More quotes today from Thaskin's lawyer..."It is not likely to take more than two weeks to know the result" and then..."I believe and I hope the deal will succeed"....and then....'Noppadon said he did not know how Thaksin planned to finance deal, saying "it's not at that stage yet," but added that he could borrow money to buy the team.'

It's a shambles. Could be two weeks to know what's happening (they hope) and they haven't worked out how to pay, and if they do pay, it could be borrowed money - so we'll be in debt again. Crazy - absolutely crazy.

To GX Blue and all you other little rays of sunshine. Cheer up, it could be worse, you could be a Rag. I prefer Barton and Newcastle relegated after late Dunney winner clinches UEFA cup spot for City.. Bugger, Nurse more tablets please.

The run in to the end of the season could be very important depending on whether we make any improvement on last season. Four home games in the last six plus Sunderland away isn't bad if are looking for points.Nice to see Colin Bell in the MUEN - compare Colin Bell,Mike Doyle and Alan Oakes with our current midfield - enough said!

For those of you predicting Barton to relegate us, you forget that since there is a transfer window in January, most likely he'll be at Real or Barca by then.

I was hoping for a home start; some tough games. Why are the rags starting home again? My holidays start 15 Aug, so I will be home for the rags game.
