A REVITALISED Macclesfield Town will be looking to climb out of the drop zone with their third successive win when big spenders Northampton Town visit the Moss Rose.

Manager John Askey will be forced to change a winning formula as captain Chris Priest is suspended, receiving a double yellow for dissent in the 4 - 0 defeat at Huddersfield.

Danny Whitaker may make a return though Askey might look for a more defensive option to build on last weekend's solid showing.

Resurgent Northampton are now on the fringe of the play-offs, manager Colin Calderwood having based his success on Premiership experience with Des Lyttle, Rob Ullathorne and Paul Trollope forming the spine of his side.
