MACC midfielder Tommy Widdrington is out for a month with a spinal injury.
Steve Brackenridge and David Flitcroft battle it out to replace Widdrington, who was suspended anyway, for the trip to Boston.
Preferred centre-backs Karl Munroe and Michael Welch may both return from suspension, at the expense of Matt Haddrell and Steve Macauley.
Manager John Askey may also be tempted to give youngster Michael Carr another chance at right back, though flu victim Steve Hitchen would be the ideal replacement for Nigerian international George Abbey, who has been selected for his country's African Nations Cup squad.
Boston are one point and one place ahead of Macc, so for all the ambitious talk of play-offs this is very much a relegation six-pointer.
The Pilgrims are likely to be without the suspended Simon Weatherstone and Ben Chapman and the injured Graeme Jones and Daryl Sutch.
KEY OPPONENT: Neil Redfearn - veteran midfield play-maker still scoring at the age of 36.

Simon I suggest that before you write your previews you check with the clubs website. If you had done this when writing on Macc Town you would have seen that both David Flitcroft & Steve Hitchen had been released from their contracts & therefore wouldn't be available for the Boston game.
You see Simon someone does read your reports keep on giving the Silkmen some space.
