NIGERIAN international George Abbey is the latest Macclesfield player to forsake his place in the side because of suspension.

Sent off in the first FA Cup game against Cambridge, he now faces three games on the sidelines, giving Steve Hitchen a chance to stake his claim.

Although Colin Little and Matty Tipton had sore calves after the cup win, both are expected to be fit.

Boss John Askey was disappointed by Karl Munroe's sending off in the second round replay at Cambridge, but Askey reckons tomorrow's game at Darlington is a six-pointer and he may give Munroe one more chance, knowing Matt Hadrell will feature when he is suspended.
