STAND-IN Macc boss John Askey faces a moment of truth as he takes the club that has been close to his heart for over 20 years to leaders Hull City.

Askey has been given a minimum of two games to prove his worth - the second at home to Boston in the FA Cup.

Askey said: "We know it's going to difficult but I can't see any reason with the players we have got, and the spirit that has always been in the dressing room, that we can't do very well."
