Macclesfield Town

Preview: Macclesfield Town v York City

FIT-again midfielders David Smith and Chris Priest and club skipper David Flitcroft, dropped at Northampton, may again have to sit on the bench for the home game against York.

Manager Dave Moss said after the goalless draw at Northampton: "That XI have shown me what they can do and deserve another chance."

Moss's one decision may be whether to stick to his new-look 5-2-3 formation or return to 4-3-3 and go for the win at home.

If Moss, who has promised fans six points from the next two home games, does go on the offensive, Michael Welch could be the man to miss out.

"York may have had an excellent start to the season, but man for man we have better players," Moss said.
