MACCLESFIELD have signed Swindon Town midfielder Ashan Holgate on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old impressed Paul Ince when the Macclesfield boss had a short spell as a player at Swindon at the start of the campaign.

Holgate will now push for a place in the Macclesfield squad to face Darlington at the Moss Rose on Saturday.

Ince is also hoping to have Dave Morley fit for Saturday's game, after the Macclesfield captain was forced off with a hamstring injury during Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat at home to Walsall.
