Macclesfield Town cruised into the second round of the FA Cup with a classic smash and grab raid at big city Hull.
The Blues took the lead on 12 minutes when a clearance from Justin Whittle cannoned off his own man falling at the feet of Matthew Tipton who bagged his sixth of the season from close range. Macclesfield extended their lead on 26 minutes with a classic downward near post header from Kyle Lightbourne.
Keeper Steve Wilson maintained his side's advantage with a succession of stunning saves, and Macclesfield sealed the game in the 75th minute with a long range volley from midfield maestro Danny Whitaker.
Manager David Moss said: "You get a feeling for a place. As a player, as a coach, as an Assistant Manager and now as a manager I don't think I've ever come away from here having lost."
