MACCLESFIELD Town produced a second successive win with a thoroughly professional performance against a demoralised Notts County outfit.
The Silkmen took the lead in 24th minute when former Manchester United apprentice Colin Heath pounced on a woeful clearance by Mike Edwards to slot a clinical finish into the top corner from the edge of the box.
They extended their lead in the 32nd minute when John Murphy was brought down by County keeper Saul Deeney allowing Kevin McIntyre to score his third penalty in two weeks to exactly the same spot, low and to the right of the keeper.
Macclesfield shut up shop in the second half and were rarely tested, Asmir Begovich making a brilliant one handed save in the 52nd minute to deny Jason Lee.
County equalised in the dying stages through a Dan Martin header but the visitors barely had time to take the kick off before the referee blew time.
What is your verdict on the game? Have your say.

You've got to believe in Ince now ! Never mind 20 balls on the pitch, we played like we had 20 players out there. We're staying up.
The teams above are coming back to you Macc. Ince always provided grit whenever he played and it seems so far that he can bring it out in a team as a manager too.
Get behind those boys and with a bit of luck (no more nasty injuries)............

It's like a dream. Just to be in touch by Christmas would be great.
