MACCLESFIELD town were plunged deep into relegation trouble after conceding an injury-time winner at managerless Peterborough United.
Danny Crow rifled a 25 yard drive home in the fourth minute of stoppage time to break Silkmen hearts.
Super sub John Miles thought he had earned the visitors a vital point when he grabbed his second goal of the afternoon in the 90th minute, but Crow's second handed Posh, whose manager Steve Bleasdale resigned 70 minutes before kick off handed the hosts the points and ensured Macclesfield will face a nervous final two games of the campaign.
The Silkmen took a deserved lead when Miles stroked home on 61 minutes, but Peterborough levelled when Crow volleyed home Adam Newton's cross on 71
minutes.
Posh were ahead seven minutes later when David Farrell headed home fellow substitute Lloyd Opara's cross.
But the visitors levelled matter in the final minute when Miles lifted Matthew McNeil's flick on past Mark Tyler only for Crow to strike again in the final twist of an enthralling contest.

I listened to this game on the internet. I thought we had wrapped up the draw at 90 minutes, and then .....
Macc - you are giving me the jitters. Get it together lads. One last push and we're there!
Come on Macc, our Cheshire neighbours, grind out the necessary point(s). Don't want to see you go to the conference because of an inexplicable late season slump. Come on, you can beat Grimsby at your place. They've stumbled a bit lately too.
Cheers,
Phil B^)
