MACCLESFIELD Town travel to Hull City tonight (Tuesday) just as the Tigers begin to bare their teeth.

The Division Three promotion favourites finally came to life at the weekend, thumping Carlisle 4-0.

Macc, meanwhile, continue to blow hot and cold, losing by a single goal at Southend. They will be without Chris Byrne, who has suffered another frustrating setback with a medial ligament injury.

Ball-winner Karl Munroe is likely to deputise, with Lee Hardy another option.

Matthew Tipton may also be rested, with Neil Robinson looking for a start.
