Silkmen at the double!

MACC Town have wrapped up a double defensive signing this morning with the capture of Doncaster Rovers' David Morley and Bury's Danny Swailes.

The pair will be put straight into Saturday's squad to face Kidderminster Harriers, which has been described as a "must win" game by Macc boss Brian Horton.

Morley, aged 27, started at Manchester City before spells with Southend, Carlisle, Oxford and Rovers and signs for the Silkmen in a deal worth around '20,000.

Twenty-five-year-old Swailes, who has been a long-time target for Horton, joins in a '40,000 deal from Gigg Lane.
