MIDFIELDER Paul Harsley has been your pick of the Silkmen squad during 2004.
The versatile 26-year-old came out on top of our readers' poll to pick the top three players of the calendar year - narrowly beating last season's top scorer Matty Tipton.
Harsley was signed by John Askey in February on a free transfer from Northampton Town, and has made nearly 50 appearances for the Silkmen, scoring four goals.
This season, Harsley has shown his versatility by slotting in as a wing-back to great effect.
We received loads of entries, with eight people agreeing with our judges' top three of Harsley, Tipton and this season's top goal-getter Jon Parkin.
Unfortunately, there could be only one winner - and Chris Singleton from Wilmslow was the lucky winner of a Macc Town football signed by the whole squad.
The prize will be sent out this week.
Readers' Silkman of 2004 poll:
1. Paul Harsley - 68pts
2. Matty Tipton - 62pts
3. Jon Parkin - 50pts
4. Graham Potter - 28pts
5. Mike Welch - 22pts
6. Danny Whitaker - 20pts
