IT'S a battle of the tight budgets tonight as Macclesfield travel to fellow minnows Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.

The two clubs with the Football League's smallest incomes clash in a fixture that normally guarantees goals.

In the six clashes since Accrington regained Football League status, 23 goals have been clocked up, with Stanley notching 2-0 wins in both fixtures last season.

Macc boss Keith Alexander is hoping that on-loan striker Ricky Sappleton has recovered from a groin problem suffered in Saturday's defeat to Bournemouth while Stanley chief John Coleman also has injury problems.
