It is believed Tipton will receive '1,200-a-week plus bonuses as part of his one-year deal and the 19-goal former Welsh youth international said: "I would not have re-signed unless I thought Macc could get promotion.
"The club is ambitious and if we don't make a success of it next year it will be down to the players and not those off the field to take responsibility."
Fans' favourite Tipton swept the board at the player of the year awards as well as the Junior Blues awards.
He joined the Silkmen in February 2002 from Oldham Athletic as David Moss's first permanent signing, going on to hit three goals before the end of the season.
The following year he finished as joint top goalscorer with 14 goals before this season where he broke the record, set by Ritchie Barker, for most Macclesfield goals in a season. Tweet
