MACCLESFIELD manager Keith Alexander will be hoping that both striker Francis Green and right-back Izak Reid will be back for the vital fixture at Chester.

Club skipper Sean Hessey is also on the way to recovery and could be ready to face Morecambe on Easter Monday.

Resurgent Chester, seven points behind Macc, are unbeaten in four games, whereas Alexander's men are on a winless six game run.

The board have, though, given Alexander their support, backing his plans for next season.

Vice-chairman Andy Scott said: "We now just need to ensure we get over the line this season."
