MACCLESFIELD boss Keith Alexander is hoping new loan signing Colin Daniel will help give the Silkmen fresh momentum to take into next season.

Attacking midfielder Daniel, 21, has signed for the rest of the season from Crewe Alexandra.

Alexander told www.mtfc.co.uk: "It's clear we need to freshen things up and change things around a little. There are still eight games to play this season. A few more wins and we can start looking forward to next season, one where I fully expect us to push on."
