Having cherry-picked the side he helped to save from relegation last season, the former Manchester United star has Danny Swailes and Alan Navarro in his side, as well as Jordan Hadfield on loan.
But after three defeats on the bounce, Macc fans might think there could be no better time to go to the Home Counties, but not according to boss Ian Brightwell: "They are going to feel wounded and we have to be on the look-out for a reaction.
"We saw that with Peterborough when they thumped Accrington after we had beaten them. But we'll go there full of confidence."
Brightwell added: "There is definitely a fresh feel about the place. The new lads have all settled in well and had a big impact.
"I certainly feel that we have a stronger, more balanced squad who were a credit to the themselves and the club against both Darlington and Peterborough."
With Francis Green and Richard Edghill still doubtful, Brightwell is likely to play the same side that drew with Darlington, containing all five of his loan signings.
