The Shakers are almost free of relegation worries, helped by Tuesday's impressive 3-0 defeat of Mansfield.
Striker David Nugent, who had a hand in all three goals, should have recovered from a hamstring injury but Tom Kennedy is doubtful with an ankle problem. Jon Cartledge will deputise if Kennedy fails his fitness test.
"Tom was touch and go before the Mansfield game and that's why we took him off towards the end as a precaution," said manager Graham Barrow.
"Cheltenham is a hard place to get a result. But we want to finish as high as possible and to keep our run going."
LAST SEASON: Different divisions.
KEY OPPONENT: Bob Taylor - veteran former Bolton favourite still offers a goal threat.
