Bury

Preview: Leyton Orient v Bury

DAVE Challinor plays the final game of his Bury loan spell tomorrow before returning to Edgeley Park to sort out his future.

The Stockport defender has been outstanding during his time at Gigg Lane and has helped stem the flood of goals.

Manager Graham Barrow wants to keep him and believes counterpart Sammy McIlroy would let him go.

"There is still a chance we might be able to do something," said Barrow. "But Dave has got another year on his contract and understandably wants to know where he stands."

Barrow has also been looking for a striker but finding the right man at the right price is a tough job.

Damaged

Bury will be without Lee Unsworth for tomorrow's visit of Orient, who won 2-0 when the sides met at Brisbane Road earlier in the campaign.

Unsworth damaged his knee in training this week so Matt Barrass will again deputise.

Harpal Singh missed a chance for some badly needed match practice when a midweek reserve friendly was postponed. But Barrow could be tempted to put the Leeds winger on the bench.

The Shakers have lost just one of their last eight games but have drawn five of those matches.

LAST SEASON: Bury 0 Orient 1

KEY OPPONENT: Gary Alexander - top scorer who hit target against Shakers earlier in season.

PREDICTION: Bury 2 Orient 1.
