"I think we're a stronger team now," said manager Graham Barrow. "But Oxford will want to bounce back from last week's defeat at Yeovil so it will be a tough game."
Veteran defender Colin Woodthorpe is available again after a two match suspension. He will come in for Jon Cartledge, who went down with mumps after last Saturday's victory over Cambridge.
Striker Joe O'Neill is doubtful after turning his ankle in the reserve's 2-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town. David Nugent could take his place on the bench after impressing in the same game.
But Harpal Singh will miss the trip to the Kassam Stadium. The winger is having no luck after recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
He was ill last weekend and has now suffered a similar injury in training to O'Neill.
