Barrass on brink

MATT Barrass's career is in the balance again after suffering a knee injury during last Saturday's draw with Kidderminster.

The Bury-born utility player has twice had surgery to repair his cruciate ligaments and he faces an anxious wait to discover the full extent of the new problem.

"It's more serious than we first thought and he will be out for a minimum four weeks while it settles down," said Bury boss Graham Barrow.
