GRAHAM Barrow has given striker Gareth Seddon a vote of confidence as Bury try to stem a dismal run of seven successive defeats when they visit Lincoln.
Seddon had plenty of opportunities to win recent games against Carlisle and Huddersfield but wasted them all, and hasn't scored since netting the club's 6,000th league goal at Darlington on October 25.
Caretaker boss Barrow said: "I've had a look at the video and they were better chances than I thought at the time from the dug-out.
"The lad just needs to calm down because he is getting in positions to score.
"He's always felt under pressure to prove himself because all he wants to be is a professional footballer."
"But he's got a contract until the end of the season and hopefully that will give him some security."
Striker Joe O'Neill and wing-back Lee Unsworth are Barrow's injury doubts for the trip to Sincil Bank.
LAST SEASON: Lincoln 1 Bury 1
KEY OPPONENT: Liverpool-born striker Gary Fletcher
PREDICTION: Lincoln 1 Bury 1.
