SUPERSUB Kevin Townson sealed a deserved win for Rochdale to end their dreadful recent run.
In a totally one-sided first half Dale should have led by more than the one goal that they scored through loan striker Andy Bishop on eighteen minutes.
A double substitution at the break saw an improvement from the home side and after 48 minutes Terry Dunfield brought them level with a well taken left-footed effort.
Dale’s winner came with just eight minutes to go when Townson latched on to a Gareth Griffiths’ knock down to score from close range for his eighth of the season to end a run of six successive League defeats.

When are Bury going to learn how to count - more than 929 dale fans today.
Fantastic 1st half -nervous 2nd, but good to see the players stick at it till the end.
Excellant response from Simpkins after last weeks troubles and undeserved abuse.
Please Mr Buckley play Paddy and Kev more from the start!
